The place was fairly clean and comfortable during my stay. It had an absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice setting very close to shops, restaurants, supermarkets, the river, and the town centre which had good variety of shops stores eating and drinking venues.

We had a really comfortable stay just off the center and we truly enjoyed the owner; the location was good, within walking distance of a 12th-century Norman castle.

The location is quiet yet central. The living/dining room is bright and airy. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The owner is helpful and communicative. Plenty of benches and a parking space nearby. Worth exploring.

The apartment can get a little chilly as the radiators don't get very warm, especially during colder months. The sitting room's large, single-glazed bay window made the room quite cold, and thermal-lined curtains would have been a better idea.

We had a wonderful stay at the Relaxing Riverside Retreat in Ross-on-Wye. The location was perfect, just off the High Street, and the cottage itself was bright and airy. The living/dining room was a great place to unwind after a day exploring the area. All the rooms were well equipped and comfortable. Richie, the owner, was a fantastic communicator and made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. While the cottage didn't have its own outdoor space, there were plenty of benches close by along the river. Having a parking space right next to the cottage was also a bonus. we highly recommend this retreat for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Ross-on-Wye.

Despite not having a dedicated outdoor space, there were plenty of benches near the river for us to enjoy. a delightful experience at a lovely retreat.

The condensation issue in the sitting room, caused by the large single-glazed bay window. Thermal-lined curtains would have been a better choice to address the cold temperature.

The bedroom was ill equipped and badly lit, with a lack of bedside tables and lights. The bathroom was gloomy and lacked adequate lighting over the basin.

stayed in ross before, but Relaxing Riverside Retreat, Ross On Wye exceeded my expectations. great location, comfortable, clear communication.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the convenient location and easy access to town and riverside walks. The living/dining room was bright and comfortable for relaxation after a busy day. Richie, the host, was a great communicator, ensuring we had a delightful stay.
